Don't ya hate it...

Don't ya hate it when Dukan dieters drop off the blogger-universe ;-)
Sorry I haven't been around much lately. I've been so busy and stressed that not only have I stopped blogging but haven't done so well on my diet either. I was 1kg away from my true weight and had plateaued for months. It got too hard. I let non-dukan food slip in... 4kg later, I'm now 5kg from my true weight again - grrrrrrrrr

I'm back on Dukan again, newly motivated and wanting to fit my new clothes again.
I've started back on my running.
I'll make a real effort to blog again, perhaps not every day, but at least a few times a week.

Hope everyone is doing okay.
Til next time

  1. I know how you feel. I let my Dukaning slip and went from being with 4 kg to now almost 10 kg away. I am freshly motivated though and having the weather change and grow cooler makes me want to focus more inward. It is really hard for me to stay on a schedule in the summer. I always do much better in the winter. I know I do keep more on top of the dieting and exercise when I blog and check in. I hope to see more posts from you in the coming months. Do you have a running goal?

    1. I live in the southern hemisphere so we are just coming into summer. Not usually the easiest time for me but I'm feeling determined again. This time I want to hit my weight goal.

My first running goal is to run 5km without walking, after that I hope to move onto 10km. But my weekly goal is to run at least twice, hopefully three times and build up my running from there. Do you have an exercise goal?

  2. I have too many exercise goals! Seriously, I have decided recently I might do better to try to keep it simple. I am walking or doing boot camp or Bikram yoga every day I don't work both of my jobs. On days I work only one job (or am off all together) I am trying to do at least 30 minutes of some type of exercise. One of my jobs is very active. When I work that one I try not to take the elevators and I have climbed 50+ flights of stairs in an evening.
I used to run and I was in my best shape at that time. I haven't been running lately and I know I need to start. It is the best at burning calories. I have a treadmill but since I moved to a new apartment, I haven't used it. Right now it is outside on the patio. I think I need to bring it in and use it.

  3. I am with you slipping foodwise and I have realised you can't run off bad eating. But I have not stood on the scales as I don't want to be depressed by the number before New York. But once I get back from New York I will stand on the scales and see the damage but for now I am trying to be honest with myself foodwise and having mixed success.
