Rewards

Do you have something in mind to buy yourself once you get to your goal weight? My reward will be a nice pair of jeans that fit like a glove. At the moment I seem to be shrinking out of all the jeans that fit me, which is good but I'm running out of clothes to wear :-)

It's so exciting to be finally breaking through my plateau. I hit an all time low on the scales this morning and it's so motivating to keep going! And all this I'm doing with minimal exercise. It's three weeks til my operation. I've been doing a bit of research and some people are back into their running after a month, that's encouraging. I guess I'll have to wait and see how I'm healing but I'm excited that I will be out running again before too long.

  3. I know that feeling of jeans getting too loose! Luckily I can alter them for awhile but I too am looking forward to a really funky pair of jeans. Where in NZ are you by the way?

    1. How do you alter jeans? I sew... I guess I could just tuck in the sides or something... Do you take the waist band off?
I'm north of Auckland (a beach out from Warkworth). Where are you?

  4. Congratulations on the all time low.

Also, I have had rewards set up all along the way, really helped in the beginning, everytime I hit a mini goal I got a new piercing or outfit, treated myself to a night out or something. Really helps along the way and by the end I found I didn't even need a reward. I hit 75 lbs, 100 lbs and my ultimate targets (BMI at normal and 110lbs lost) without any rewards. Being thin for the first time in my life just became what I worked for.
